By accessing or using the Halo app and website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of Service

Halo is a Bible companion application that provides daily verses, audio stories narrated by our voice cast, AI-powered Scripture exploration, and mood-based devotional content. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by users 17 years of age and older.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Subscriptions and Payments

Halo offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the Service without our express written permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the app
• Use the AI chat feature to generate harmful, illegal, or offensive content
• Impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual Property

All content in the Service — including audio narrations, artwork, AI-generated responses, and design — is owned by or licensed to Halo and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Halo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. The AI responses in Halo are generated by machine learning and should not be considered theological advice from a licensed clergy or counselor.
